Exciting times ahead for the boxing club

Team Yafai CIC, the charity company operated by the Yafai brothers, has taken over the running of the Boxing Club. They have arranged for Matchroom Boxing, the sports promotion company with which they have links, to be at the Church Hall on Friday 22 November from 5.00 to 7.00 pm as part of their community project 'Matchroom in the community. Kal Yafai says: "we would like to invite you and all the church to this event. Press will also be in attendance. Below is the link for more information on what kind of stuff matchroom do regarding the community work".
Please come along if you are able. This will be a good opportunity to gert an idea of the Yafai brothers' plans for the future of the Club.

Patronal Festival 2024

We were fortunate indeed to welcome as principal celebrant and preacher, the inspiring Bishop of Oswestry , Paul Thomas SSC. Preaching from the chancel and not the pulpit he broke down the barriers that speaking from on high can produce. After concelebrating with Fr Thomas and invited priests he went on to invite veneration of the church;s relic of Saint Agatha. Mass concluded with a blessing of the new facilities funded by charitable trusts and the Greatrex family.

Bishop Paul enters the church Fr Thomas proclaims the gospel with the relic of St Agatha Food!
