Over 100 people of all ages came together on Saturday 6th February to celebrate the feast day of our patron, Saint Agatha. Many, many priests joined in the concelebration presided over by our guest, the Bishop of Richborough : the Right Reverend Norman Banks SSC. We were fortunate to be joined by Liz Hopewell and members of the choir of St Gabriel, Fulbrook in Walsall. Bishop Norman told us of the inspiring story of St Agatha and the interesting ways in which she is celebrated. With splendid music on organ and trumpet, and other Saint Agatha' specialities including 360degree thurible swinging, it was a happy occasion with many new visitors.
